It is truly autumn. I am happy as a lark. The colours of nature are awakening my creativity. I have a new found love for apples. We went apple picking and brought home a cartload. Apple pies and crumbles are the order of the day, every day. I have taken a shine to biking and rediscovered yoga. I am reading every day. I am sketching a lot. I have started a countertop micro herb garden. Toad has joined our family of crazy kooks. Chooks? Kooks? I think they are synonymous. She is a beautiful black Australorp. She lays pretty pale pink eggs. She is skittish as a cat. We love her. 
I am loving so many things right now. There is some amazing creativity out there, beauty in words and pictures. I hope you enjoy my favourites list this month. It is huge!
